The Moody Blues je anglická rocková skupina, slavná hlavně díky hitu Nights In White Satin. O jejich schopnostech hovoří i deset zlatých alb (z toho tři platinová), která získali za desky vydané v rozmezí let 1967 -1981. Nejvýraznější postavou skupiny je zpěvák-skladatel a kytarista Justin Hayward, ale ke zvuku Moody Blues výrazně přispěli i další členové kapely, zejména John Lodge, Mike Pinder a Ray Thomas.
